For a third-grader, understanding slavery can be tough, but for students at Florence Sawyer School the concept is easier to grasp when it is turned into a project. The third grade recently completed a major undertaking for the year, the Harriet Tubman/Underground Railroad project and showcased all the work for fellow students.
